Morgan Memorial Goodwill Industries (Goodwill) is grateful for the support of individuals who make financial contributions to the organization and is committed to being transparent about how donor contact information is used and to honoring donor requests on the use of such data.
Goodwill uses donor information in the following ways:
- Exchange of donor contact information: At Goodwill, we never rent or sell our donors’ names and addresses. We will occasionally exchange mailing lists with another charity.
- Publication of names: Goodwill lists the names of donors who have given $500 or more in its annual report and, on occasion, on its website or in other publications.
- Goodwill communications: Goodwill sends periodic mailings and emails to donors in order to share updates and request support.
Donors may specify how their data will be used:
Goodwill will honor donor requests on the use of their contact information. Donors can request to exclude their contact information from exchanges, to be omitted or recognized a specific way in publications, to be removed from the organization’s mailing or email lists, or to decrease the frequency of mail or email they receive.
