Discover how Goodwill is the right choice for recreating all the best summer looks. With 14 locations across Massachusetts, we offer nearly endless opportunities for you to snag that perfect accessory — or even entire outfit.

It’s all about the accessories!

Sarah Jessica Parker always makes a statement. Her impeccable taste in clothing is almost an industry in itself. This summer, while visiting the Good Morning America show, photographers took note of her simple, light pink floral dress, highlighted by a short, iridescent jacket casually laid low on her shoulders. What made the combination special, though? Her shiny fuchsia pink heels. Here we’ve paired a summer sundress by Jessica Simpson with our own silverish-pink bomber jacket and stunning Stuart Weitzman burgundy patent leather pumps with peek-a-boo toes.

White on white

Taylor Swift’s style rarely misses a beat. Her nearly limitless fashion recreations leap across genres, from pop diva to buttoned-up business. In this photo by Gotham/GC images she leans into summer with this soft, white-on-white skirt/bustier combination. How easy is that to recreate? To do so, we’ve stolen the show with this 1990s retro JGee’s lace mid-calf skirt and a trendy American Eagle crop top. A Time and Tru dark cream purse fabricated from recycled materials finishes the ensemble nicely. Slip on your favorite tan summer sandals and you’ve got an inexpensive look to sing about!

Belting up a cottage look

Here Kristin Davis, the ageless starlet of the Sex in the City franchise glamps the cottage core look in a belted, white-and-green floral frock that speaks warm weather and sunny days. To recreate? Just thrift your best loved color and land one of the many flouncy long dresses found among Goodwill’s clothing racks. Then, to downplay the sometimes overwhelming “prairie feel” of flowered prints, wrap it in a wide belt secured just under the chest line. The simple switch drives eyes up towards the neckline and enhances the flowing lines of these go-to walkabouts. Dress it up with pumps or take it down with sandals.
