It Was a Very Good Party!

The party was a fun time, attracting more than 300 guests and raising $235,000 for everyday independence!

Who: Leading business, civic and community representatives; local personalities; VIPs; the Goodwill Board and other caring friends of Goodwill.

What: Bubbly champagne and champagne cocktails. Tasty barbecue and other diverse local flavors. Sweet treats. Even sweeter music. A good way to celebrate and benefit a great cause – Morgan Memorial Goodwill Industries! A dynamic Event Committee and the creative flair of the team at Rafanelli Events made for a festive and memorable evening. Featured restaurants included Ashmont Grill, Bella Luna, Burton's Grill- Boston, Darryl’s Corner Bar & Kitchen, Davio’s Northern Italian Steakhouse, Merengue, The Pit Stop BBQ, Sel de la Terre,Tasty Burger, and Tavolo Ristorante.

Where: Under a huge tent at Goodwill Headquarters, 1010 Harrison Avenue, Boston.

Why: To celebrate everyday independence! Every day individuals with disabilities gain the skills and confidence to get a job. Every day children discover what they want to be when they grow up. These are days and successes worth celebrating. This year, when the need for Goodwill’s services is greater than ever, we expect to serve 9,000 people. Helping individuals achieve independence and dignity through work is the essence of Goodwill’s mission and has been so since 1895!
