The Goodwill Fresh Air Camp

Fresh Air Camp provides a camp experience that will excite and inspire an appreciation for the learning process!

Located on 500 acres of woodlands, fields, and ponds in South Athol, Massachusetts, the Fresh Air Camp offers a fun and enriching overnight camp experience during the summer months for boys and girls ages 8 to 16. Fresh Air Camp is accredited by the American Camp Association.

Fresh Air Camp Program Overview

Recreational Activities
Fishing, dance/Hip Hop, arts & crafts, general sports, basketball, soccer, drama, nature hikes, Red Cross swimming lessons, pool parties, plays, evening activities, talent shows!!

Academic Enrichment Overview: Science, Technology-Computers, and Literacy
Reading, math, science, digital imaging, basic computer programming, and development of a camp newspaper.

We are confident that children performing our activities will gain a new understanding for Massachusetts Department of Education’s learning benchmarks (math, science and technology, literacy) and be more motivated, confident learners. We include tools that allow for individual assessment and progress reports. This provides a baseline for each program component. As a camp we will never replace a well-designed, rigorous, teacher- led school curriculum. That is not our intent. We are committed to a camp experience that will excite and inspire an appreciation for the learning process!
