About Fresh Air Camp
Fresh Air Camp, located on 500 acres of woods, fields and ponds in Athol, Massachusetts, offers a safe, traditional overnight camp experience for boys and girls ages 9 to 15, with a Counselor in Training program for 16 and 17 year olds.
Fun, Fun, Fun!
During the day campers participate in a wide range of activities including swimming lessons, fishing, dance lessons, jewelry making, arts and crafts, basketball, flag football, soccer, nature hikes, Fresh Air Olympics, outdoor education and more. Evening activities include pool parties, talent shows, scavenger hunts, mystery theater, capture the flag, treasure hunts, camp plays and camping out under the stars.
Educational too!
Educational activities are integrated throughout the camp program in order to inspire youth to become more motivated and confident learners. Each session of camp has an educational theme that youth explore through a variety of activities that are designed to support their reading, writing, math and science skills.
Fresh Air Camp 2011
The 2011 Fresh Air Camp will enroll 115 children from Boston and beyond for each of its three sessions. The well-established, successful programs at Fresh Air Camp steer children in a positive direction by helping them to
recognize and develop their strengths, gain confidence, make new friends and return to school in the fall prepared to learn.

Morgan Memorial Goodwill Industries was founded in 1895 in Boston’s South End to provide residents with jobs and to furnish the community with low-cost goods. It was the first in what is now a worldwide network of 175 independent affiliates.

Savara Willis - I Will Work
Savara Willis was very motivated when she came to Goodwill.
A single mother with six children, Savara had been unemployed for three years and was determined to get off welfare.
The Dorchester resident enrolled in First Step, Goodwill’s job readiness program and then completed the food preparation training program at Goodwill.
