Financial Donations: Make a Memorial or Tribute Gift

Consider memorializing or honoring a loved one to celebrate a special event in someone’s life, or the passing of a relative or friend.

Your gift to Goodwill can be made in honor or in memory of someone important to you.  Simply include the following information with your gift:

• Specifiy whether the gift is an honorary or memorial gift.
• Provide the name(s) of the person you wish to recognize or remember
• Provide the name(s) of the person(s) you wish Goodwill to notify of your gift
• Be sure to clearly mark the name of the donor(s) and the address for Goodwill's acknowledgment to the donor(s)

Goodwill does not include the amount of your gift in the notification, but we do share the circumstances (in honor/in memory/another occasion).

Tribute gifts are meaningful ways to make gifts with special impact and meaning.  Consider making a tribute gift to Goodwill in lieu of a present for someone's next birthday, the birth of a child, a graduation or for the holidays!
