Goodwill's OutSource Resource provides business solutions to companies with light assembly, packaging, and fulfillment needs. The Outsource Resource provides closely supervised and structured work for individuals with disabilities. The work is done at our job training center in Salem. Participants learn job skills and gain experience with real work at a competitive wage, preparing them for jobs in the community.
When companies outsource to Goodwill, they can expect high-quality, efficient, and cost-effective service. Companies who partner with us are also enhancing the dignity and quality of life for individuals with disabilities and other barriers to employment.

Eric Chouinard: Finding a Museum-Quality Connection
Visitors to the Peabody Essex Museum (PEM) in Salem see exhibitions and collections that include Native American artifacts, fashions of Iris Apfel, photographs by Valerie Belin, and paintings from India. What they don’t see is dust, fingerprints, or smears. That’s because the museum hired an enthusiastic high school student named Eric Chouinard as a member of their maintenance and janitorial team.
