Our
Mission
Morgan Memorial Goodwill
Industries' mission is to provide exemplary job training
and related services to help individuals with disabilities and other
barriers to self-sufficiency to achieve independence and dignity
through work. Not charity, but a chance.
This year Goodwill ---
- Provided
job, vocational and on-the-job training to approximately nearly
1,500 individuals with physical and cognitive disabilities, transitioning
from welfare or facing other barriers to employment.
- Assisted
more than 7,000 individuals seeking jobs and career services through
our one-stop career center, Boston Career Link.

Worked with more than 600 employers including The TJX Companies,
Jiffy Lube, ZOOTS, KeySpan Energy, Stop & Shop and other leading
companies.

Operated seven Goodwill Stores, cleaned 1.5 million square feet
of offices and provided light assembly and mailing services that
offered real work experience and paychecks to Goodwill program
participants.

Served the community by providing educational services to 500
youth through the Fresh Air Camp and Mellon Academy for Girls
and provided Thanksgiving meals to more than 1,400 neighbors in
need.

Collected more than 20 million pounds of donated clothing and
household goods from over 500,000 donors for resale in The Goodwill
Stores.

Spent 85¢ of every dollar directly on Goodwill’s programs.
