Business
Collaborations
Goodwill has a long tradition of partnering with the business community
to fulfill its important mission of helping individuals with barriers
to self-sufficiency achieve independence and dignity through work.
Our work with the business community takes many forms, all of which
are equally vital to everything we do at Goodwill, from our job
training and placement services to our retail and donation operations.
More than 200 different businesses work with Goodwill each year,
and we refer to those relationships as “business collaborations”
because they are mutually beneficial. View a list of our Business
Collaborations.
Hiring and OutSource Resource Collaborations
Businesses collaborate with Goodwill for many different reasons
and in a variety of ways. For companies
looking to hire good employees,
we are a valued source of skilled, reliable workers. And we can
help businesses improve their retention rates, reduce their recruiting
costs and gain access to tax credits. As members of Goodwill’s
Business
Advisory Council,
a number of businesses provide advice and direction to Goodwill
to help us place more people and fine-tune our training so we can
be sure our programs are adequately preparing people for the workforce.

front,
companies choose to support Goodwill because we have a solid track
record – and over a century of experience – of helping
people overcome barriers and reach their full potential. Whether
it is providing financial support, hosting a clothing drive, providing
pro-bono services, or sponsoring or participating in a Goodwill
event, there are many ways companies can work with us to help make
a significant difference in the lives of those who come to Goodwill
for help. Success
